Temple of Deceit wäre in einem Kontroll- oder Tempo-Deck von Vorteil, das sowohl blaues als auch schwarzes Mana nutzt. Die Hellsichtigkeit hilft bei der Kartenauswahl und die Flexibilität, entweder blaues oder schwarzes Mana zu produzieren, kann in einem mehrfarbigen Deck nützlich sein. Obwohl möglicherweise bessere Doppelländer verfügbar sind, ist „Tempel der Täuschung“ eine solide Option für Decks, die Manafixierung und Kartenauswahl suchen, was es zu einer brauchbaren Wahl für die Aufnahme in bestimmte Deck-Archetypen macht.
