Eine Kontrolle-Deck, das stark auf Sofort- und Hexerei-Zauber angewiesen ist, würde am meisten von der Verwendung des Mystic Sanctuary profitieren, da es ermöglicht, mächtige Zauber aus dem Friedhof wiederholt zu wirken. Während Mystic Sanctuary in einem geeigneten Deck eine starke Karte ist, könnten einige argumentieren, dass Karten wie Flooded Strand oder Polluted Delta bessere Optionen zum Suchen spezifischer Länder und zum Ausdünnen des Decks sein könnten. An Island is a land with the subtype Island, not any land that could produce blue mana. For example, Mystic Sanctuary is an Island, but Castle Vantress isn’t.

As these lands are entering the battlefield, they check for lands that are already on the battlefield. They won’t see lands that are entering the battlefield at the same time (due to Scapeshift, for example).
