Chained to the Rocks es un poderoso hechizo de eliminación en un mazo de rango medio o aggro blanco que se enfoca en controlar el tablero. Puede proporcionar una ventaja de tempo significativa al exiliar una amenaza por solo un maná blanco. Si bien es una carta fuerte, existen otros hechizos de eliminación como Path to Exile o Swords to Plowshares que son más versátiles y no requieren encantar una tierra específica. Chained to the Rocks puede ser una buena inclusión en mazos que pueden proteger de manera confiable su montaña encantada y beneficiarse del efecto de exilio, pero puede que no siempre sea la mejor opción dependiendo de la estrategia del mazo y el metajuego específicos.

If the land Chained to the Rocks is enchanting stops being a Mountain or another player gains control of it, Chained to the Rocks will be put into its owner’s graveyard when state-based actions are performed.

In a multiplayer game, if Chained to the Rocks’s owner leaves the game, the exiled card will return to the battlefield. Because the one-shot effect that returns the card isn’t an ability that goes on the stack, it won’t cease to exist along with the leaving player’s spells and abilities on the stack.
