Undead Gladiator would be beneficial in a graveyard-focused deck that aims to recur creatures and generate card advantage through discarding and cycling. While it has utility in being able to return to your hand and cycle for card draw, there are potentially better options like Bloodghast or Gravecrawler that offer more consistent value and synergy in decks that rely on graveyard recursion. Undead Gladiator could see play in certain niche strategies but may not be a top choice in competitive decks.
