Sunken Hollow is a valuable addition to a multicolor control deck that includes both blue and black mana sources, as it provides flexibility in mana production. Decks that rely on a mix of blue and black spells, such as Dimir Control or Grixis Control, would benefit from Sunken Hollow's ability to generate both blue and black mana. While there may be better dual lands available, such as Watery Grave or Drowned Catacomb, Sunken Hollow is still a solid choice for decks that require a mix of blue and black mana sources, and it should definitely see play in the right deck.

Even though these lands have basic land types, they are not basic lands because “basic” doesn’t appear on their type line. Notably, controlling two or more of them won’t allow others to enter the battlefield untapped.
