Stonefare Crocodile could be a valuable addition to a green-black midrange or aggro deck that focuses on gaining life and maintaining board presence. While it provides a way to gain life and potentially swing the game in your favor, there are better options available such as Vampire Nighthawk or Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet that offer additional abilities and stats for a similar cost. Stonefare Crocodile may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its limited impact compared to other available options.

multiple instances of lifelink on the same creature are redundant. Activating Stonefare Crocodile’s ability more than once during a single turn won’t cause you to gain more life.
