While Sleep of the Dead offers a cost-effective way to temporarily neutralize a threat on the board, there are potentially better options available such as cards with more versatile effects or stronger impact on the game. Whether Sleep of the Dead should see play ultimately depends on the specific dynamics and goals of the deck it is being considered for.
