This card would benefit decks that focus on ramping up their lands quickly, such as landfall or land-based strategies. While Seer's Sundial can provide card draw in such decks, there are potentially better options like Tireless Tracker or Tatyova, Benthic Druid that offer additional benefits beyond just drawing cards. Seer's Sundial could see play in casual or budget decks, but in more competitive settings, other cards may be more efficient choices.

The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
