Patched Plaything could be beneficial in a White Weenie or aggressive deck that aims to quickly deal damage to the opponent, as its double strike ability can be impactful in combat. However, the drawback of entering with -1/-1 counters may limit its effectiveness. Other cards like Adorned Pouncer or Fencing Ace might be better options for a similar aggressive strategy, as they have more consistent stats and abilities without a downside, making Patched Plaything less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
