Metastatic Evangel could be a valuable addition to a white-based proliferate deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a consistent way to proliferate whenever another nontoken creature enters the battlefield. While it may not be the most powerful card on its own, in combination with other proliferate synergies, it could help to quickly amass counters and gain incremental advantages. However, there are stronger proliferate cards like Contagion Clasp or Contagion Engine that may offer more impactful effects and should be considered for inclusion in the deck over Metastatic Evangel.
