Jeweled Torque would fit well in a control or midrange deck that focuses on gaining incremental life while maintaining card advantage, especially in formats where spells of a chosen color are frequently cast, such as in a multicolor environment. It could synergize nicely with decks that utilize a lot of spells in a specific color, allowing for consistent life gain. However, there are arguably better options for life gain and card advantage, such as Soul Warden or Altar of Dementia, which provide more immediate or impactful benefits. While Jeweled Torque can see play in niche strategies or casual formats, its effectiveness may be limited compared to more powerful alternatives.
