Gongaga, Reactor Town would be beneficial in decks that either run red or green mana symbols and have a lower curve, as the land entering tapped could slow down decks with a higher curve. Decks that prioritize speed and mana fixing could benefit from this land. However, there are better options available in the form of dual lands or fetch lands that provide more flexibility and can enter untapped under certain conditions, making Gongaga, Reactor Town less desirable for competitive play.
