A deck that focuses on enter-the-battlefield triggers or effects that benefit from creatures leaving and returning to the battlefield would benefit from using Ghostway in Magic: the Gathering. While Ghostway has its niche uses, a similar card called Eerie Interlude may be more versatile as it can protect creatures from board wipes and removal spells, making it a more popular choice in certain decks. All cards exiled with Ghostway will return to the battlefield, even if they’re no longer creatures.

When the creatures are exiled, any Auras or Equipment on them fall off and any counters on them are removed. When they return to the battlefield, they come back untapped and are treated as new versions of the cards.
