A deck focused on ramping up mana quickly and running a high creature count would greatly benefit from Garruk, Caller of Beasts, as his abilities can provide card advantage and put powerful creatures onto the battlefield. However, in competitive Magic: The Gathering formats, there are often better options for similar effects, such as Nissa, Who Shakes the World or Vivien Reid, which offer more immediate impact or protection. While Garruk has potential in casual or midrange decks, he may struggle to find a place in highly optimized competitive decks.
