A Boros Guildgate would benefit a deck that focuses on red and white mana sources, particularly in a slower-paced strategy where entering tapped isn't a significant drawback. However, there are better options available such as Sacred Foundry, which provides the same colors without entering tapped. In most cases, Sacred Foundry would be a more efficient choice over Boros Guildgate, unless specific synergies or budget constraints make the Guildgate a viable option.
