Abrupt Decay is a versatile removal spell that can fit well in a variety of decks, particularly those looking to handle small threats efficiently and reliably. Decks that focus on disrupting the opponent's board state or controlling the battlefield, such as midrange or control decks, would benefit from including Abrupt Decay. While there may be situational cards that could be considered better in certain scenarios, Abrupt Decay's flexibility and uncounterability make it a strong choice for many decks, and it should definitely see play in the right metagame.
