This Talisman of Segador card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on aggressive strategies, especially with creatures that have evasion to attack alone consistently. Deathtouch can make the equipped creature a formidable threat, and the life loss/gain ability adds extra pressure on the opponent. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering environments, there are more efficient equipment cards like Sword of Fire and Ice or Sword of Feast and Famine that offer additional benefits for a similar cost, so Talisman of Segador might not see much play in top-tier decks.
