A deck that focuses on controlling the opponent's life total or manipulating game states would benefit from including Sorin Markov. However, there are more efficient and versatile cards available in the Magic: The Gathering universe that offer similar effects, such as Liliana of the Veil or Liliana, the Last Hope, which provide more consistent value and impact on the game. While Sorin Markov can be a fun and flavorful inclusion in certain decks, it may not be the most competitive choice for high-level play.
