A deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a black sacrifice deck or a zombie tribal deck, would benefit from including Sepulcher Ghoul. While it provides a temporary boost in power and toughness, there are indeed better cards that offer more consistent or impactful effects, such as Bloodghast or Gravecrawler in zombie decks. Sepulcher Ghoul could see play in more casual or budget decks, but competitive decks might opt for more efficient options.
