Raven of Fell Omens would fit well in a black control or discard deck that focuses on punishing opponents for their actions while maintaining life gain, as its ability triggers from any crime committed, allowing for synergy with discard spells and removal. While there are other cards that can provide similar effects, such as Kaya, Ghost Assassin for life drain or Gray Merchant of Asphodel for a more potent life gain effect in a devotion deck, Raven's unique trigger condition can create interesting interactions. Overall, it could see play in casual or thematic decks, but its effectiveness may be limited in competitive formats where more consistent life gain and control options exist.
