Ichorid is a great fit for a graveyard-based deck looking to utilize recursion and sacrifice mechanics. It synergizes well with cards that benefit from creatures entering and leaving the graveyard, such as Bridge from Below or Bloodghast. While there may be more efficient graveyard recursion options available in certain situations, Ichorid can still be a strong inclusion in the right deck, especially in formats like Legacy or Vintage where graveyard strategies are prevalent.

If multiple Ichorids are in your graveyard, you can’t exile the same creature card to return each of them to the battlefield.
