A deck that focuses on white and black mana, such as an Orzhov or Esper deck, would benefit from using Forsaken Sanctuary as it provides both colors of mana. However, there are better dual lands available, such as Godless Shrine or Isolated Chapel, which come into play untapped under certain conditions. Forsaken Sanctuary could still see play in budget decks or casual formats where access to dual lands is limited.
