Child of Thorns could be a valuable addition to a green-based aggro deck looking to pump up its creatures for a final push to victory. However, there are more efficient options available such as Rancor, which provides a permanent boost and returns to your hand if the creature it enchants dies. While Child of Thorns may not be a top-tier card, it could still see play in budget decks or casual playgroups where its ability to boost creatures in a pinch could be useful.
