This card, Altar of the Brood, would benefit a deck focused on a strategy of milling your opponents' decks, aiming to deplete their libraries and win through deck out. While Altar of the Brood can be a useful inclusion in such a deck, there are more efficient and powerful cards like Hedron Crab or Glimpse the Unthinkable that can accelerate the milling process and have a greater impact on the game. Overall, Altar of the Brood could see play in a casual mill deck, but for more competitive strategies, other cards may be more effective.
