This card, A-Midnight Assassin, would be a great addition to a black-based control deck in Magic: the Gathering. Its combination of flying and deathtouch makes it a powerful threat that can easily take down larger creatures while evading blockers. However, there are better options available such as Vampire Nighthawk, which also has lifelink, providing additional survivability. A-Midnight Assassin could still see play in certain situations where its abilities are particularly useful, especially in a deck focused on removal and disruption.
