Hayden Panettiere is an American actress and singer born August 21, 1989, in Palisades, New York. Her career began early. She appeared in commercials as an infant, then gained recognition through roles on One Life to Live and Guiding Light. In 1998, Panettiere played young Sarah Roberts in One Life to Live, then portrayed Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light briefly. Her film work included Remember the Titans, where she played cheerleader Sheryl Yoast, daughter of legendary coach Bill Yoast there. The 2004 film Raising Helen cast her as Audrey, a teenager confronting adulthood while living with her sister Helen suddenly.
