A deck that focuses on controlling the board and stalling the game would benefit from using Wall of Stone, as it provides a solid defensive wall that can protect against aggressive strategies. However, there are better options available, such as Wall of Omens, which not only has defender but also draws you a card when it enters the battlefield, providing additional value. While Wall of Stone may have niche uses in certain metagames, it generally doesn't see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its limited impact compared to other defensive options.
