Seedborn Muse is a valuable addition to decks that heavily rely on untapping permanents for additional value, such as mana ramp decks, control decks with powerful activated abilities, or decks focused on tapping and untapping synergy. While Seedborn Muse is a strong card in these strategies, there are other options like Prophet of Kruphix or Wilderness Reclamation that may offer more immediate benefits or synergies with specific strategies, so it's worth considering the overall game plan and synergy of the deck before including Seedborn Muse.

Other effects can prevent a permanent from untapping during an untap step. You do need to look carefully, however, as many effects say that the permanent does not untap during its controller’s untap step, and this card’s ability occurs during other players’ untap steps. If a card does say this, then Seedborn Muse can untap it. But some other abilities are not written this way and can still prevent a card from untapping.
