Orim, Samite Healer would be a valuable addition to a control deck that focuses on protecting key creatures or players from damage. While Orim's ability to prevent 3 damage is useful, there are more efficient options available such as Mother of Runes or Giver of Runes which can protect from any source of damage and not just the next 3 points. However, Orim could still see play in a deck that values redundancy and wants additional ways to protect important targets.
