Kykar, Wind's Fury would be a great addition to a spell-heavy deck that focuses on casting noncreature spells to generate value through token generation and mana ramp. It could fit well in a Jeskai spellslinger deck, where it can create a swarm of Spirit tokens to provide blockers or sacrifice for additional red mana. While there may be better options for specific strategies, Kykar's unique ability to generate tokens and mana simultaneously makes it a strong contender for inclusion in decks looking to capitalize on noncreature spells.

Kykar’s triggered ability will resolve before the spell that caused it to trigger but after targets have been chosen for that spell, so the Spirit that will be created can’t be a target of that spell. Kykar’s ability resolves even if that spell is countered.
