Empowered Autogenerator would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly to cast high-cost spells or activate abilities requiring a large amount of mana. Decks that aim to play big creatures or powerful spells early in the game would find this card useful. However, there are better options available such as Gilded Lotus or Thran Dynamo, which provide a more immediate mana boost without the need to wait for charge counters to accumulate. While Empowered Autogenerator has potential in certain strategies, its effectiveness may be limited compared to other mana acceleration options.

Empowered Autogenerator’s activated ability is a mana ability. It doesn’t use the stack and can’t be responded to.
